"Guillermo's Challenge"

Guillermo's Challenge ~ A Story by The Chillie- Bannana

Once upon a time there was a young and handsome man named Guillermo. Guillermo lived in the kindom scrantonia which was ruled by a king who happened to have a beautiful daughter named Rebekah. Guillermo was in love with Rebekah even though he had never spoken a word to her. So instead he would play his precious accoridan. Guillermo loved his Accordian with all his heart. In fact, many of days he would wonder and ask himself if he liked his accordian or the beautiful Princess Rebekah. He just couldn't make up his mind!

Since the Princess's hand in marrige seemed like just a dream, Guillermo decided to make use of what he had. He played his accordian ALL DAY LONG!!!! whenever he would walk into town he would play for the towns people. The Towns people grew weary of his playing and would often cry out,

"Will Guillermo ever stop playing that noise!!!"

The king eventually called him to his court in hopes of using this terrible gift he had to good use.

When Guillermo appeared before the king, he bowed deeply, but did not even attemp tp put down his accoridian.

When the king saw this, he got anrgy at Guillermo.

"Your love for that accordian is too great!" He said, "I will put you to the test! There is a mightly beast named "Dankeifer" which comes and kills our people for food. He lives in the cave "Skubia" just outside of town, Many of men have gone in search of killing the beast, but have failed. If you kill him, I will let you either have the most wonderful Accordian in the world, or my Daughter's hand in marrige. The choice is yours, but first you must kill the beast!"

"I accept your challenge!" Guillermo replyed to the king and headed for the cave "Skubia" in search of the beast "Dankeifer."

When he finally arrived at the cave, Guillermo found Dankeifer in the cave snoring loudly ontop a pile of chewed bones.

"How will I defeat this beast?" Guillermo asked himself. He tip-toed into the cave with his accordian still in hand. While trying to dodge behind a boulder, he accidently stepped on a bone, making a loud crunching noise!!! This woke the beast up!

"Oh no!" Guillermo cried.

The beast was ferious! He started to charge at Guillermo, But then Guillermo had an Idea!

He began playing a sweet tune on his accordian and tried to sooth the beast's anger.

The beast fell into a daze for awhile, but soon again began charging Guillermo! Guillermo had no choice but to bang the Beast in the head with his accordian!!! Guillermo fought hard until the beast finally lay, drenched in blood, at Guillermo's feet. Guillermo himself, wounded all over, starres at his once beautiful accordian.

"I will have to replace it with a new one," He sighs. With a heavy heart Guillermo returns to the king's palace.

"I have defeated the beast!" Guillermo announces to the king.

"Very good," the king says, "Now, what will you choose? My duaghter, your the accordian?"

Guillermo was jsut about to speak when the doors of the room flew open. It was the Dankeifer! He was still alive!!!

"How many times do I have to kill the same beast??!" Guillermo cries. Dankeifer begins to charge Guillermo when suddenly a beautiful servant girl by the name of Anna, jumps out in front of the beast. Guillermo thought she was the most beautful woman he had ever seen! HE loved her more then Rebekah just at the sight of her!

"This fighting is pointless!" Anna cried, "Why can't we all get along? The beast can stop eating people and Guillermo and you can be freinds?"

Dankeifer seemed to understand her. But then, out of no were, a man came up and shot Anna in the chest with a bullet!

"I want no peace!!!" the man cried then ran out of the room.

"Arrest the man!!" the king cried. The castle Gaurds caught the man, but Anna laid there on the ground, dead. Guillermo held her in his arms. HE began crying for loosing her was too much to bare! Then, after a silent moment, he kissed her tenderly on the lips.

In a moment she awoke and she stared into his eyes. It was truly love at first sight!

"Oh my love!" Guillermo cried, " You are truly The prize I wish to win! Will you marry me my love?"

"Yes!" Anna replied. They were wed the very next day! They moved into there own castle were Guillermo kept HUNDREDS of accordians for him to use. Tehy both had 20 kids and loved everyone of them. Dankeifer also stayed i nthe castle and became the family dog. I thnk now we can allsay that they all lived happily ever after...
